PRP AND GFC

This is a minimally invasive procedure done to promote health of the scalp and new hair growth. 8-
10ml of the patients own blood is withdrawn and separated to harvest the natural growth factors
available in our serum. This is then injected in to the superficial layers of the scalp so as to improve
blood supply as well as enrich the local scalp environment for hair growth. The procedure takes
approximately 45min to 1hour. For patterned hair loss, minimum of 4-6 sessions are recommended
once every 4-6 weeks followed by maintenance procedures, once in 3-4 months.

QR678NEO

QR678neo is a patented and novel formulation of plant derived growth factors that are injected into your scalp to promote hair growth and scalp health. Since it is placed superficially, it is almost painless. Unlike PRP/GFC, it requires no blood withdrawal and is a 10-minute procedure. It needs to be repeated at 3-week intervals for 4-6 sessions. It can be combined with other hair growth promoting treatments.

SCALP BOOSTER

This is a variation of the HydraFacial that is done for the scalp. It helps in deeply cleansing the scalp and infusing hair growth peptides into the superficial layers of the scalp so as to promote a healthy scalp environment. Deep cleansing also helps in better penetration of other serums. This is recommended for individuals with severe dandruff, greasy scalp, acute hair loss or even as an add on treatment for patterned hair loss. 3 sessions at an interval of a month is recommended, with Maintenance sessions once every 6 months.

PRP is a promising and safe therapeutic option to promote hair growth. The patients own blood is withdrawn and the components separated by using a centrifugation machine. The plasma that is rich in platelets and growth factors are then injected into multiple areas of the scalp so as to stimulate and provide nourishment for hair growth.

Hair loss is a natural process in humans. According to studies, we lose around 50-100 hair follicles per day . It does regenerate again in the same place in a healthy adult . If the hair does not regenerate on its own , then it can lead to pattern baldness or hair loss. Hair Transplantation

Types of Hair Transplant?

There are two types of treatment available for hair transplant.

1.Follicular Unit Extraction(FUE)
2.Follicular unit transplantation(FUT)

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE ) -This is the method of Hair transplant surgery in which the trichologist manually removes individual hair follicles from scalp and then implants it to bald or thinning areas of the scalp .

Follicular unit transplantation This is a procedure in which small clusters of hairs or ‘follicular units’ are removed from the donor area of hair in a strip, and inserted into the bald area(recipient area) These are naturally occurring units which if transplanted well, will replicate their natural growth pattern in the recipient area of the scalp.

It’s a very safe procedure if done by an experienced dermatologist / trichologist . It’s a day surgery . There is no need for admission .

Side effects – Mild pain will be experienced by the patients . There are a set of instructions to be followed after procedure . If adhered to correctly , there is good mainatance of hair growth .
